Job Title: Subcontract Coordinator
Location: Bredbury
Remuneration: £13.81 per hour

  • Manage sub-contract jobs while ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs and delivery times.
  • Raise purchase orders for sub-contract work, new equipment, and replacement parts.
  • Ensure compliance with sub-contract governance and collaborate with the UK tech team to address queries.
  • Assist in negotiating prices and recovering all associated costs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments such as Laboratory, Logistics, and UK Sales to meet customer objectives.
  • Demonstrate previous experience in a purchasing and/or administration environment.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • utilise strong IT skills and knowledge of Office Suite (especially Microsoft Office Excel).
  • Assimilate technical information with ease.
  • Be self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Work efficiently with minimum supervision in a busy, demanding environment.
  • organise your time effectively and perform multi-tasks efficiently in line with specific timelines.
  • Carry out other duties as required, commensurate with the role.
This Temp Subcontract Coordinator position is similar to an Account Manager role and focuses on vendor relationships. You'll be progressing vendors for updates and won't shy away from picking up the phone.
