My client, a leading specialist subcontractor within the stone and marble sector, is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious projects across London and the surrounding areas, with genuine career progression available for the right individual.ABOUT THE ROLEPrepare accurate estimates and costings for specialist stone and marble projects.Negotiate contract and payment terms (JCT contracts).Support business development through research and tender opportunities.Produce valuations, billing, progress reports, and project costings.Oversee project management from tender through to completion, liaising with clients and stakeholders.Manage material procurement, deliveries, and stock control.Coordinate site activities including labour, subcontractors, and quality checks.Prepare risk assessments, method statements, cutting sheets, and templates where required.REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience as an Estimator within stone, marble, or a related specialist subcontractor environment.Strong understanding of JCT contracts.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Commercially aware with strong reporting and costing abilities.REWARDS AND BENEFITSCompetitive salary package.Exposure to high-profile projects.Opportunity to develop and progress within a market-leading subcontractor.
