Their projects encompass the design, construction, and refurbishment of water networks and pumping stations, contributing significantly to Scotland's water infrastructure.They are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Glasgow where you will be playing a pivotal role in managing costs and contracts for critical water sector projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial management of projects, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Prepare valuations, manage subcontractor contracts, and oversee procurement processes
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies
- Support project delivery by maintaining strong client and supplier relationships
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within water or infrastructure sectors
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Degree or relevant professional qualification preferred
