The role involves providing tailored learning support to young people with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and thrive both academically and personally. This is a perfect stepping stone for graduates who are considering careers in education, psychology, or specialist support services.Main Duties: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Work closely with students who have SEN, delivering personalised support inside and outside of lessons.
- Help adapt classroom resources to meet a variety of learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records, including updates to EHCP documentation.
- Encourage student independence, resilience, and confidence in learning.
- Contribute to creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment.
- A degree in psychology or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Must be a graduate candidate SEN Teaching Assistant with a 1st or 2;1 calibre degree
- Previous experience supporting children or young people is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient and adaptable approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Solid academic background (A Levels and GCSEs) preferred.
