- Have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
- The post holder should have sound knowledge of: Mental Capacity Act (2005), Working knowledge of Care Act (2014), Mental Health Act (1983), Human Rights Act (1998)
- Communication skills that enable relationship building, trust and engagement
- Ability to travel across a geographical area within the CMHT footprint to visit service users in their homes or in other community basis.

- Completing s42 enquiries
- Completing Mental Capacity Act assessments
- Ability to write reports to a standard expected within investigations including Untoward incidents, mental health tribunals or a court setting.
- Supporting carers
