Job DescriptionWe are currently inviting applications for the position of Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a residential development comprising seven flats located in Plymouth City Centre. This project, with a total value of £1 million, is scheduled to commence imminently and requires a competent professional with proven experience in similar schemes.Role Overview:The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the management and coordination of site activities. You will be expected to lead the site team, ensure health and safety standards are rigorously maintained, and deliver the project in accordance with the agreed programme, budget, and quality expectations.Key Responsibilities:
Full management of day-to-day site operations
Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and trades
Implementation and enforcement of health and safety procedures
Monitoring of progress against programme and reporting to the project lead
Quality control throughout the refurbishment process
Liaison with clients, consultants, and suppliers as required
Essential Requirements:
Valid SMSTS
Valid First Aid at Work qualification
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager on residential refurbishment or similar construction projects
Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Competence in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
