They are now looking to expand their commercial team by hiring a skilled and driven Quantity Surveyor.Sectors include:Painting & DecoratingOffice RefurbishmentsIndustrial RefurbishmentsMaintenance ServicesRoofingABOUT THE ROLEAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account. You'll be responsible for managing costs, contracts, and commercial risk while working closely with project managers and clients to ensure financial success and project efficiency.Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projectsManage all commercial aspects of multiple live projectsMonitor variations and submit valuations/applications for paymentProcure subcontractors and manage paymentsPrepare and negotiate final accountsEnsure projects are delivered on budget and meet financial targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractorsREQUIREMENTSProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or refurbishment industry working for a main contractorStrong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial best practicesExcellent analytical and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and organisational skillsRelevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction ManagementREWARDS AND BENEFITSCompetitive salary up to £80,000 (depending on experience)Opportunities for career progression within a growing business
