- GCSE Maths, English or equivalent NVQ
- Experience in an Acute setting
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Be able to escalate problems when required and report back to supervising registered practitioner
- Good communication skills
- Willing to undertake additional training as required
- Able to demonstrate sensitive and empathetic approach to patients in treatment
- Ability to analyse working environment eg stock levels and to resolve or escalate as appropriate.
- Ability to assess behaviors of service users and escalate to supervisory staff as needed.
- Excellent verbal and listening communication skills Able to work well in a team, work reliably and safely under indirect supervision
- Able to organise own workload Be able to use initiative and common sense
- Must have high level of self-motivation and desire to succeed
- Flexible and hard working
- Reliable and conscientious
- Basic I.T. skills and willing to undertake further training to a level of proficiency
- Demonstrate an understanding of the practices of equality and inclusion in the delivery of this role
- Rota may include early starts and late finishes Rotational cover for weekend work
- Able to perform full range of manual handling required for the post
