- Commercial insight generation: Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for the Flutter UKI Leadership Team, leading high-impact insight deep-dives into key topics, including areas of commercial under/overperformance.
- Data & reporting excellence: Supervise the design and delivery of key commercial dashboards and automated reporting so the business can effectively monitor Flutter UKI’s commercial performance & market share. Champion the use of self-serve analytical tooling to support the BI team’s top objective of modernising insight.
- Leadership & team management: Lead, mentor and develop a team of ~10 BI managers and analysts across our commercial ‘Sports’, ‘Gaming’ and ‘Market & Strategic projects’ BI teams.
- Commercial BI & analytics strategy: Set the standard for commercial analytics across Flutter UKI, working collaboratively with our commercial brand teams and analysts as required.
- Overall BI strategy: Play a leading role in supporting the UKI Director of Business Intelligence to shape the BI department’s overall strategy, strengthen our analytical approaches, and evangelise BI across Flutter UKI. Work closely with other ‘Heads of’ in BI to align insights and ensure a consistent, joined-up approach.
- Analytical innovation: Identify and test new data sources, analytical approaches and tooling to ensure we are continuously increasing the value and impact of our insight and outputs within the business.
- Confirmed experience in a senior BI, analytics, or insight leadership role - ideally in the gambling industry or at a fast-paced mass market consumer business.
- Strong commercial competence, with a track record of influencing strategic decisions at senior levels and communicating (written and verbal) to senior audiences.
- Ability to credibly build relationships around the business quickly and inspire team members to ensure they perform at their best.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing analytical teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and navigating often competing business priorities
- Experience overseeing analytics and insight projects across a wide range of use-cases and problem-spaces. You will have a broad knowledge of analytical approaches and be able to use these to drive the most impact from commercial insights.
