- Safety: always follow all site safety and security procedures and attend required safety training.
- Create and Complete required tendering activity via the selected e-RFQ platform.
- Create and send Client Proposal Documents for cost reduction initiatives to Client stakeholders for approval/rejection and log status in client specific reporting to be shared with Sourcing Manager/General Manager.
- Manage procurement requests process via the selected e-platform, reporting on project status by General Manager.
- Support the Sourcing Manager with collation of data and reporting for sourcing strategy development such as spend profiles, saving performance (savings projects, top favourable/Adverse suppliers etc.., Preferred supplier spend, OEM/MRO split.
- Support SM and Client team in preparing procurement reporting for MBR/QBR Renewals etc.
- Liaise with Buying department for price escalations and resolving any Buying queries.
- Liaising with Category and Supplier on Client projects, such as arranging/facilitating site visits.
- Min three (3) years university course successfully completed in Economics / Business / Science / Logistic or other equivalent. Mater degree is preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years in sourcing MRO related materials or relevant categories is recommended.
- Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong skills in Excel / PowerPoint; ability to learn and work with MS Project.
- A technical background with familiarity of Maintenance, Repair and Operating Materials is recommended. A working knowledge of M.R.P., JIT, and related systems is desirable.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum day to day supervision.
