DescriptionOur client is a market leading property investment agent, who have become pioneers in the industry since opening up their doors 10 years ago. They have an amazing opportunity for a high calibre Business Development Manager, who is ready to make their mark within the property investment sector, based within their team in central Manchester.They are looking for a well-connected deal-maker, to grow their pipeline of off-market property opportunities. This is a key hire within their property sourcing team - someone who thrives on building relationships and bringing new business on.Your main mission?Bringing in deals - typically blocks of city centre apartments or housing schemes (stock or off-plan) for investor clients.This means:
  • Lead business development initiatives to identify and secure premium investment opportunities for their clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with developers and agents
  • Negotiating and closing off-market or below-market value deals
  • Manage the complete due diligence process ensuring every deal meets exacting quality standards
  • Negotiate terms and agreements that deliver exceptional value for all clients
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams to bring deals from conception to successful launch
  • Keeping your pipeline updated and reporting weekly KPIs
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging locations with strong growth potential
  • Travelling to meet contacts, mostly across the North and Midlands - although travel further afield may be required.
You'll be based at their Manchester HQ, but this role is all about being out there, meeting people, and getting in front of the right opportunities. It's also a hybrid role, typically 3 days in the office and 2 at home.What We're Looking For:A born networker and natural closer. You're happiest when you're out meeting people, making connections, and turning conversations into deals.Ideally, you'll have:
  • Minimum 4 years' proven experience in Business Development Management, within the property sector
  • Demonstrated track record of building successful business relationships and driving revenue growth
  • Genuine passion for property investment and market dynamics
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Self-motivated and results-driven approach with ability to work independently
  • You're commercially sharp and personable - someone others want to work with and trust with serious opportunities.
  • Strategic mindset combined with attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the Midlands and Northern regions
