Laundry Assistant - York

• Collect, sort, and process hospital laundry including linens, uniforms, and patient clothing.
• Operate industrial washing, drying, and ironing equipment.
• Ensure all laundry is cleaned and returned to departments in a timely and hygienic manner.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
• Report any equipment issues or supply shortages.

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Enhanced Adult & Child DBS is essential for this role.
