
Production Operator

- Ensure Production Target achieved, this may require shift requirements.
- Responsible for the build quality of the product, in-line with the standard operating instructions.
- Responsible for the routine maintenance / cleaning of the workstation.
- Check to ensure all equipment is compliant – BV Inspections, Calibration, PAT.
- As & when required support any other duties that may be required to support the manufacturing facility.
- Carry out 5S inspections.
- Ensure EHS best practice and fully align to GE EHS.
- Good general standard of education.
- Advanced experience in the light mechanical assembly environment or similar.
- The ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
- Understanding of ‘Lean manufacturing’ techniques would be advantageous.
- Understanding of Kanban & Flow / Pull Techniques would be advantageous.
- Mechanical / Electrical aptitude would be advantageous.
- Requires manual handling and ergonomics knowledge.
- Able to work to standard written operative procedures in an autonomous manner.
- Knowledge of VAV and LOTO.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivating, proactive and results driven approach.
- Able to work to deadlines with good quality.
- Proficient in the English language, written and verbal. Other languages are bonus.
