- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 12 to meet daily and monthly despatch targets.
- Organise workloads and allocate resources to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Monitor order accuracy and packing quality, implementing corrective action where needed.
- Maintain up-to-date training and competency records, ensuring all staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Oversee stock levels of consumables, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members.
- Act as the point of contact for operational queries, resolving issues quickly to minimise delays.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a high-volume despatch environment.
- Minimum 10 years' industry experience, with significant time in a leadership capacity.
- FLT licence desirable (training provided).
- IT literate with practical skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Confident communicator who can engage and influence at all levels.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
