- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters, including requests and issue escalations as needed.
- Take responsibility for contract governance on dynamic customer accounts
- Achieve and maintain 'trusted advisor' status with customer and leverage this to drive growth and retention of key accounts
- Maintain internal senior engagement to drive progress, support and escalation on key projects by representing the 'voice of the customer'
- Lead and manage a small team of Account-Management Executives, enabling their performance, and supporting in their own scope of work.
- Review, and take responsibility for the Key Account Plans
- Develop and execute Customer satisfaction improvement plans
- Achieve all agreed annual revenue, organic sales, and profit targets
- Working closely with Operational Leads to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within Salesforce & Quip
- Organise and lead appropriate business cadence to include regular, formal reviews and reports
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of compelling value propositions and solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Organise, attend, and exploit hospitality and entertaining opportunities
- Negotiate contract terms through to final sign off
- Monitor all up-and-coming contract renewals, preparing for continuation and/or expansion of offering
- Logistics / market industry experience (essential)
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
- Experience delivering client focussed solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to work multiple projects at all times whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Good commercial awareness and a commitment to providing customers with the highest standards of service
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the client's organisation including executives and c-level
