Job descriptionBehaviour Mentor – Tameside:Are you a calm and resilient teaching assistant with experience in behaviour management? We are currently seeking behaviour mentors to join a large provision in the Tameside are, from September, on a long-term basis.The Role:
  • Positively and effectively managing behaviour
  • Regularly communicating with other staff and external agencies regarding progress
Position Details:
  • Position: Behaviour Mentor
  • Location: Tameside
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full Time/Part time: Full-Time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: September 2025
  • End date: Ongoing, Long-Term
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience within a similar role, or a strong background in sports/coaching
  • Team Teach Level 2 training is highly desired
  • A resilient, positive and proactive nature
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
