Location: Leytonstone, East LondonA forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Leytonstone is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join the school’s IT support team from September 2025 on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who is keen to work in an educational environment.You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s IT infrastructure, supporting staff and students with day-to-day technical issues and maintaining hardware and software systems across the site.Key Responsibilities:Provide first-line technical support to staff and studentsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesSet up and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and interactive whiteboardsSupport the maintenance of servers, Wi-Fi, and school systems (e.g., MIS, Google/Office 365)Ensure adherence to data protection and safeguarding policiesThe ideal candidate will:Have previous experience in an IT support role (school experience desirable)Be confident working with a wide range of devices, systems, and softwareBe proactive, organised, and capable of working independently and as part of a teamHave excellent communication and problem-solving skillsHold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBSWhy join us?Friendly and collaborative working environmentModern IT facilities and infrastructureValuable experience in the education sectorConvenient location close to Leytonstone Underground Station (Central Lin
