We design and develop digital technologies supporting innovation and transformation.The OpportunityWe are looking for an Admin Officer to join the Rural and Remote Credential team to provide administrative support, specifically to the team delivering the high-profile work to ensure smooth delivery of the Credential to doctors who are working in a remote and rural context providing unscheduled and urgent care. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our small, but dedicated team.NES were asked by the GMC to develop a credential in Remote and Rural Health in Summer 2019. This aligns with the Shape of Training implementation group and with Scottish Government policy related to improving remote and rural healthcare. A small team from NES have been working on the Rural and Remote Credential and were granted full approval from the GMC in July 2023 and have moved the credential into the delivery stage. The Credential team are also responsible for the delivery of the Rural Grand Rounds scheme (RGR) running monthly teaching sessions.   • Experience of providing a high level of pro-active administrative support to senior management team
  • Experience of providing administrative support for online and face to face educational events
  • Extensive experience working in the field of business operations, including
  • providing business support to meetings and production of formal
  • minutes/action notes
  • Experience of working collaboratively and flexibly within a team
  • Experience of following process guidance and of maintaining comprehensive and complex project documentation in a manner that is accessible.
  • High level of confidence in using a variety of Microsoft packages (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, Office 365, SharePoint) and a willingness to enhance this knowledge
  • Awareness of Data Protection legislation and appreciation of the need for
  • discretion and confidentiality in the workplace
  • Ability to proactively identify and communicate improvements to processes
  • and systems
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
