- Design and Deliver Cloud-Native Architectures – Develop secure, scalable cloud solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll apply modern approaches – microservices, APIs, event-driven design – to create systems built for speed, resilience, and growth.
- Lead Strategic Tech Transformation – Shape and deliver large-scale transformation programmes by aligning architecture decisions to business outcomes. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to define future-state visions and guide complex change across technology estates.
- Own Delivery Across the Full Lifecycle – From early discovery to go-live and beyond, you’ll oversee the architectural direction across projects. Your focus will be on ensuring technical consistency, agile delivery, and long-term platform health.
- Establish Governance and Best Practice – Implement architectural standards and governance across enterprise programmes. You’ll ensure design assurance, compliance, and alignment with wider regulatory or risk frameworks.
- Mentor and Grow the Practice – Support the growth of internal capability by coaching junior architects, developing reusable patterns and frameworks, and driving knowledge-sharing across teams.
- Drive Client Engagement and Market Impact – Build strong relationships with clients and tech partners. You’ll support pre-sales, contribute to proposals, and help define our architecture point of view in the market.
- Deep Architecture Experience – Strong background in digital and solution architecture, with expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), integration patterns, and full delivery lifecycles (Agile/Waterfall). Experience designing target and transition states across complex landscapes.
- Leadership and Delivery – Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and align technical delivery with business strategy – ideally in banking or financial services.
- Great Communicator and Collaborator – Confident working with senior stakeholders and technical teams alike, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable insights.
- Bonus Points for Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure), knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman), experience in software engineering, and a strong grasp of emerging trends in financial services and technology.
