Contract: Temporary (3 - 6 months, with possibility of extension)About the Role:MPA Recruitment is working with a leading public sector client to recruit a People and Organisational Development Manager based at Musgrave Park Hospital.This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Organisational Development (OD) function, shaping culture, driving leadership development, and supporting transformation across a large health and social care environment. Reporting to the Assistant Service Manager, you will lead the OD team, oversee innovative interventions, and deliver meaningful impact aligned to the Trust's People and Culture priorities.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Organisational Development (OD) team, ensuring delivery of high-quality services.
- Design, implement and evaluate OD strategies and interventions across the Trust.
- Provide expert advice on complex OD challenges using evidence-based approaches such as systems thinking, behavioural science, and appreciative enquiry.
- Support leadership development and culture change initiatives.
- Analyse workforce and organisational data to inform planning and decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and internal consultancy support for teams and managers.
- Represent the OD function on Trust-wide and regional groups.
- Lead on marketing and communication of OD programmes to engage stakeholders.
- Ensure quality management, benchmarking and performance monitoring of OD services.
- Deputise for the Assistant Service Manager when required.
- At least 5 years' experience in an OD role, with 2 years at Band 6 level (or equivalent).
- Proven people management experience with ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Organisational Development, including leadership development and team effectiveness.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse and present complex data clearly to inform decision-making.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of providing advice and guidance on complex OD issues.
