- A-level / L3 in photography or closely related subject, or equivalent or equivalent experience / qualifications
- 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at level 4/C or equivalent experience / qualifications
- Degree in photography or closely related subject
- Comprehensive experience of processing photographic images using a range of software, specifically Adobe Photoshop
- Comprehensive experience of using Microsoft Office suite to include outlook, excel, publisher, word and powerpoint.
- Work experience as a photographer, including studio and location
- Work in a clinical environment, such as a hospital
- Portfolio of photographs demonstrating photographic and processing skills
- Ability to participate in planning of own workload and that of others
- Accurate and timely recording of data, both written and electronic
- Excellent team working skills
- Excellent communication skills, both with colleagues, clinical staff of all grades and photography subjects
- Work with images of a potentially distressing or emotionally challenging nature, including trauma, disease, or recently deceased
