An opportunity has arisen for a permanent part time Medical HR Assistant (22.5 hours per week) to join the team based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, providing support to the Trust on a wide range of medical HR issues.This post will offer an excellent opportunity to gain experience in this specialised and developing area of work. The role will support the Assistant Team predominantly, undertaking a wide range of HR Assistant duties.Good communication skills along with a diplomatic and tactful approach are essential as the post involves liaison with medical staff at all levels in addition to outside agencies.Should any further vacancies arise at this level then shortlisted candidates will be considered.Please note this vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received. You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible.Main duties of the jobThe Medical HR department provides a professional, comprehensive and timely Medical HR/Job Planning service to Directorates within the Trust. To ensure directorates recruit and retain staffing levels to enable the Trust to provide the appropriate level of health care to the community consistent with the overall Trust strategy, and to meet its objectives through the application of current best practice in a wide range of issues.This role supports the Advisor team in a wide range of duties as well as supporting the Medical HR Assistant Team workload.Candidates must have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above including English & Maths or proven recent relevant experience to equivalent level in either Human Resources or Medical Human Resources gained in a busy office.
