
Medical Human Resources Assistant

- Five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above including English and Maths or proven experience to equivalent level in either Human Resources or Medical HR Department
- Certificate in Personnel Practice
- Previous clerical experience preferably in an office environment
- Experience of working in a unionised environment.
- Customer service training
- Previous HR/Medical HR knowledge and experience gained in a busy office in a large organisation
- Respectful - Displays excellent written communication skills
- Ownership - Use of initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Effective organisational skills demonstrating the ability to prioritise own workload

- Deliver - Demonstrate the ability to work to strict/conflicting deadlines
- Ensures attention to detail and the ability to ensure a high level of accuracy when inputting electronic data
- IT skills including working knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office packages.
- Understanding of data protection issues and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Working knowledge of the Electronic Staff Record and online recruitment systems
- Developed understanding of HR policies and practices and relevant associated employment legislation
- Demonstrate experience of dealing with professional groups
