As a CS, you will oversee lessons in the absence of teaching staff, manage students effectively, and maintain a positive and safe learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school setting and supporting both students and teachers.Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage student behaviour and ensure engagement with learning tasks.
- Support the maintenance of a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to follow lesson plans effectively.
- Encourage students to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm and structured environment.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
