• Assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the residential childcare facility.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of care.
• Mentor and support staff in their professional development and ensure effective team management.
• Manage key performance indicators to monitor the quality of care provided.
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning to ensure resource allocation aligns with the home’s goals.
• Implement safety principles to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.
• Engage with children to promote their well-being and emotional development.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including social services and education providers.
• Participate in creating and reviewing care plans tailored to individual children's needs.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within residential childcare.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and key performance indicators.
