– Perform diagnostic microbiology examination and report on specimens, aiding patient treatment and care.
– Use interpretative skills on culture plates and complex analysers combined with the Laboratory Information Management Computer System to deliver exceptional diagnostic services.
– Process various samples, including blood, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, faeces, sputum, tissues, and secretions, interpret them for pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.Requirements:

– HCPC registration and a recognised qualification in biomedical science or equivalent.
– Post-qualifying experience in the field of biomedical science.
