Castle Education is working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Scarborough that is seeking a flexible, proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across different year groups and help create a positive, engaging learning environment.Although the role will start in one supportive school, you'll also have the chance to gain experience in a variety of other local settings if you'd like to keep your week flexible or broaden your skills.What we're looking for
- Experience supporting children in a school, nursery or youth setting
- A kind, patient and proactive approach to learning support
- Confidence working with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Strong relationship-building skills with both children and staff
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
- A welcoming, supportive school team to be part of
