- First degree or equivalent, preferably in a numerate /scientific discipline
- Professional nursing registration (RN only) Or Registration on the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) Clinical Research Practitioner Accredited Register, or working towards. (CTP only)
- Knowledge of clinical research including research ethics, design, phases and methodologies
- Proven knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines
- Experience of working with children and young people
- Higher degree in relevant field (MSc or equivalent)
- Qualification in Study management
- Experience of managing/coordinating clinical trials
- Experience of formal/informal teaching of patients or staff, and acting as a mentor to junior staff
- Experience in delivering evidence-based practice
- Ability to work independently and co-operatively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to input data using a computer, familiarity with databases and general computer literacy
- Demonstrates ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Willingness to adhere to UCLH Equal Opps and H&S policies
- Demonstrates evidence of professional development
