Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 + bonus scheme
Hours of Work: Monday to FridayWe are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance function within a dynamic, growing business in Birmingham city centre. You will take ownership of your ledger, managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payment, and maintaining strong working relationships with clients across the UK and overseas. This role suits someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and is confident managing high-value accounts.Key Responsibilities:· Manage your section of the sales ledger
· Achieve agreed cash collection and debt reduction targets
· Monitor daily debt levels and take corrective action where needed
· Allocate and reconcile incoming payments
· Follow credit policies and maintain regular contact with customers
· Escalate issues when necessary to the leadership team
· Resolve disputes, chase overdue payments, and track missed deadlinesSkills & Experience Required:· At least one year’s experience in a credit control role
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Confident communicator with experience liaising with a wide range of customers
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Experience in high-volume, target-based environmentsDesirable:· Exposure to international clients
