We’re looking for a Credit Controller to take charge of a key client portfolio, optimising collections and maintaining strong customer relationships while playing a critical role in our finance operations.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where your contributions truly matter. You’ll work closely with the Credit Manager and wider finance team, making a tangible impact on cash collections and debtor performance.Please note, this is a hybrid opportunity, requiring three days a week at our Head Office in the Mailbox, Birmingham City Centre.What You Will Do
  • Own your ledger – Manage day-to-day cash collection across your assigned portfolio.
  • Customer engagement – Proactively contact clients to chase overdue payments and build professional relationships.
  • Query resolution – Log and escalate disputes promptly to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Accurate reporting – Support senior leadership with timely, detailed debtor reports.
  • Cash management – Assist with Direct Debit processing and ensure payments are allocated correctly.
  • System accuracy – Keep customer billing and contact records up to date.
  • Team collaboration – Work with internal teams to improve payment cycles and drive process efficiency.
What You Will Have
  • A solid understanding of the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.
  • Good experience in a fast-paced finance function.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong Excel and finance system skills.
  • Confident, organised, and committed to continual improvement.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience using Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment.
