As an Assistant Pensions Administrator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality pension administration services to our client's diverse portfolio of schemes. You will work closely with colleagues and partners to ensure accurate benefit calculations, timely communications, and adherence to scheme-specific procedures.Responsibilities
- Calculate benefits using manual calculations and pension administration systems
- Follow checklists and procedures for each individual case
- Obtain authorisation before releasing information to ensure compliance
- Prepare bulk mailings for annual newsletters and pension increases
- Communicate effectively with members and third parties
- Gain and apply knowledge of client schemes through daily work
- Identify scheme-specific requirements and tailor administration accordingly
- Experience administering DB (defined benefit) pension schemes
- Pursuing relevant training and exams for APE and CPC qualifications
