This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term work, offering an excellent stepping stone into a career in education.The Opportunity: What You'll Be Doing
  • Supervising Pre-planned Lessons: You will be responsible for overseeing work that has been set by the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and focused.
  • Managing Classroom Behaviour: Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment, ensuring the school's behaviour policies are followed.
  • Supporting Student Learning: Provide general assistance to students, answering questions about the set work and helping them stay motivated.
  • Reporting Back: Give clear and concise feedback to the class teacher on student behaviour and any issues that arose during the lesson.
  • Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
The Ideal Candidate: Who We're Looking For
  • You have experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting.
  • You possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • You are adaptable, reliable, and have a proactive approach to your work.
