
Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist

- Provide comprehensive assessment, advice, and treatment of clients following life changing catastrophic injury
- Manage own caseload working as an autonomous practitioner
- Provide Physiotherapist as part of the multidisciplinary team, and be involved in interdisciplinary team service developments, meetings and audit as appropriate
- Demonstrate empathy with distressed clients, carers/ families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved, particularly where barriers to understanding exist
- Undertake continuous professional development and invest in the team by promoting excellent skills and embedding innovation
- Write reports in a range of styles as well as keeping up to date with clinical record keeping
- Keep an overview of treatment programmes to ensure they are aligned with clinical recommendations and the rehabilitation package commissioned for each client

- HCPC registration
- Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience of working within a neurological care and rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of the medico-legal system would be an advantage
