- Proven experience in business development or a sales role within the construction recruitment industry.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the construction industry working solely in sales, business development or 360 recruitment.
- Strong network of clients and candidates to build a recruitment desk with in construction
- Bachelor's degree or in role vocational qualification in business administration, marketing, or a related field (not essential)
- Certification or evidence of extensive training in sales, business development, or recruitment.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies, including prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for managing pipelines, tracking leads, and generating reports.
- Strong understanding of resourcing processes, industry trends, and client needs within construction sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong meeting skills to host and chair clients at their location and our offices delivering presentations and workshops.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to influence decision-making and close deals effectively.
- Adaptability and resilience to navigate challenges in the sales process and overcome objections.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen to develop sales strategies, identify target markets, and position the company competitively.
