Do you enjoying engaging in customer meetings to help identify commercial efficiencies?Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting one of our new business wins! As a Finance Manager, you will lead the financial analysis with the operational team to ensure maximum performance is delivered on this closed book contract while also delivering 'best-in-class' weekly flashes, period reporting, forecasting and budgeting exercises.This is a full time, permanent, on site position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:30 till 17:30. We do ask for some flexibility with this being a management role, this is logistics after all! You will be working for an accredited employer of CIMA and ACCA.Pay, benefits and more:We're looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).   • Ensure robustness of accounting within GXO and visibility of results to internal stakeholders
  • Be part of change team by analysing any financial impacts of projects for inclusion into business cases to the business
  • Confirm clarity of balance sheets across each are of the contract to satisfy internal SOX requirements
  • Lead thinking on team structure and development of individuals, delivering strong succession planning, including standardisation of process to allow cross operation support
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Strong financial analysis and 'what if' scenario planning
  • Experienced in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings
  • Knowledge of financial management systems, while having experience of Oracle would be advantageous
  • Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ideally fully CIMA or ACCA qualified, or actively studying towards
