- BSc (Hons) Clinical Technology or equivalent
- DCR (R) or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
- Current relevant Professional Registration
- CT or Nuclear Medicine Qualification (PgCert/PgDIP/MSc)
- Certificate of competency in Venesection and cannulation
- Further relevant study
- Experience in delivering a Nuclear Medicine or PET-CT service
- CT experience
- Radiopharmacy and Laboratory experience
- Personal Involvement in research projects
- Teaching
- Open to the acquisition of new skills and knowledge
- Good working knowledge of NM, PET and CT procedures and theory
- Research protocols and procedures
- Audit
- Able to work unsupervised for imaging procedures
- Ability to work as a multidisciplinary team member
- Good patient handling and communication skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent time management
- Good manual dexterity for handling syringes and other medical devices
- Able to visibly inspect and administer radiotracers
- Be prepared to present papers for tutorials/study days/conferences

- Team skills: able to work under pressure.
- Able to work with radiation
- Good manual dexterity to manipulate syringes and able to visually inspect radiopharmaceuticals
- Able to move heavy radiation monitoring and other equipment
