As an Operations Team Leader at the company, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-
day operations of the freight forwarding team, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, including time critical jobs.
You will lead a team of professionals, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure that all shipments are handled in compliance with industry standards and regulations.Experience
Minimum of 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain
management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role or experience
handling time critical movements or AOG's. Aerospace and Aviation experience a bonus.Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with both import and export operations.
· Familiarity with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipping & DG.Hours: Mon-Fri (9am - 17.30) with weekday coverage and weekends on a rota basis.Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000
