  • Salary: Paid to scale M1 to U3
  • Start Date: 01/09/2025
  • Permanent Contract with 0.8 to full-time flexibility, depending on your circumstances
  • Open to ECTs and experienced teachers
About the RoleYou will play a vital role in teaching and inspiring students across post-16 qualifications, primarily A-Level Biology, and ideally contributing to BTEC Applied Science. A willingness to teach across other science disciplines (Chemistry or Physics) is welcomed.
  • Deliver inspiring and well-structured lessons in Biology
  • Foster intellectual curiosity and a love of learning in your students
  • Plan, assess and adapt learning for a diverse student cohort
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support wider school life through pastoral and professional engagement
We're looking for a Post-16 Biology Teacher who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE
  • Has experience teaching A-Level Biology
  • Is passionate about inclusive, engaging science teaching
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and curriculum insight
  • Is committed to professional reflection, innovation, and collaborative working
