This role will span both traditional automotive production and cutting-edge EV technologies, covering mechanical systems, automation, batch, and chemical processes.You'll play a key role in scaling up production, introducing new equipment, and driving continuous improvement across the business.What You'll Be DoingDevelop, configure, and optimise manufacturing processes from concept through to certificationAnalyse production data to identify and deliver improvement opportunitiesDesign, run, and upgrade mechanical, automated, and chemical/batch systemsLead process development for specialist EV componentsCommission new capital equipment and handover to production teamsProduce clear process documentation and work instructionsUse structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 5 Whys, Fishbone) to address efficiency and quality issuesDrive improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)Maintain strong Health & Safety and 5S standards across operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Design EngineeringWhat We're Looking ForDegree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent)Proven process/production/industrial engineering experience in manufacturingStrong background in mechanical systems, automation, and continuous improvementExposure to chemical handling and batch production (desirable)Automotive industry experience (essential); EV or printed circuit manufacturing a plusKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality improvement toolsSkilled at interpreting technical drawings and process dataHands-on, solutions-focused, and thrives under pressureStrong communication skills and team mindsetWhy Join?You'll be part of an ambitious, future-focused company that's actively shaping the next generation of automotive and EV technology.
