
Process Engineer - Automotive

- You will utilise your knowledge to develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to deliver the safety, quality delivery and cost objectives.
- Detailed planning, development and implementation of installation timing plans with key suppliers.
- Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEA's.
- Assembly process & equipment verification at suppliers and at manufacturing facility
- Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
- Support the resolution of technical issues where appropriate.
- Planning, developing and implementation of all written Processes for manufacturing and all tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
- Previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques with a hands on approach to engineering.
- Experience of facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning and product launch.
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to Launch.
- Ability to use CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models (Catia V6 & Teamcentre etc)
- Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing system
- Ability to problem solve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months
- Salary/rate will depend on experience
