Cold Forging Technician
Location: AylesfordSalary: Up to £38,000 per annum DOE

With a strong focus on innovation, engineering excellence and career development, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic and growing team during an exciting period of expansion.Working hours:Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (1-hour unpaid break) - 40 hours per weekKey responsibilities:
  • Schedule, load and monitor production runs on the fastener cell
  • Perform tool setting/changeover for each production run
  • Conduct first-line maintenance and address initial technical issues
  • Maintain stock levels for lubricants, tooling and materials
  • Ensure equipment uptime and efficiency through preventative care
  • Achieve production KPIs and quality targets
  • Work within health & safety and LEAN principles
  • Contribute to team meetings (SQDIP) and improvement projects
  • Maintain a clean, organised working environment
  • Provide support to others in-house production tasks when required
About you:
  • You'll have experience in toolmaking or CNC machining and possess working knowledge of cold forging machinery, such as headers, thread rollers and induction heating systems.
  • You'll take pride in your technical ability, be driven to uphold the highest quality standards and enjoy working collaboratively in a production-focused team environment.
