- Lead the strategic priorities for Category Development across the E-Commerce channel (Pure Play & Omni-Channel Retailers) in United Kingdom and Ireland markets.
- Head up the review & development of E-Commerce category performance across all Henkel HCB active categories, identifying key dynamics & shopper behaviour to drive category growth (incl.MS, competitor analysis, ecom fundamentals review, relevant analysis to driving eCommerce traffic, conversion, and basket size etc.)
- Shape the assortment + placement recommendations for all active categories for Pure Play retailers, and support recommendations for Omni-Channel retailers (incl. MSL and Perfect Portfolio)
- Drive the optimization of the digital shelf for all categories/retailers, identifying clear action plans to facilitate growth.
- Build & develop independent relationships with retailers, supporting Henkel's position as a trusted category partner.
- Collaborate with internal teams and relevant data vendors to identify and obtain relevant data and tools for E-Commerce channel insights and tracking/reporting.
- Lead the sharing of E-Commerce insights to optimize Omni-Channel category recommendations.
- Fully versed in the latest principles and practices in category management, with proven success in an FMCG environment.
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) with over three years of experience in category management (ideally within FMCG E-Commerce channel)
- Experience of E-Commerce channel including Pure Play & and Omni-Channel Retailers.
- Analytical and adept at leveraging multiple data sources to craft compelling category stories.
- Strong skills in strategic planning and developing well-considered actionable plans.
- Exceptional at stakeholder engagement, inspiring collaboration and bringing others along on the journey.
- Skilled at delivering impactful presentations and communicating effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrates sound decision-making and a strong understanding of business priorities and needs.
