Executive Assistant is required to support a driven senior executive with a demanding schedule across clinical practice, academia, and entrepreneurial ventures. The role is ideal for someone confident managing complex administrative operations, proactively handling communications, and enabling the Executive to perform at their highest level.Job Specification:The role is hybrid, based in Cambridge with in-office attendance required on Mondays, and remote work Tuesday to Friday.Executive Support
  • Manage a complex, dynamic diaries including clinical responsibilities, university lectures, and business meetings.
  • Prioritise and coordinate conflicting demands across personal and professional schedules.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams, external collaborators, and senior stakeholders.
Administrative Management
  • Prepare for and support high-level meetings with agendas, minutes, and timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain efficient filing and digital record systems.
  • Ensure workflows, documents, and tasks are streamlined and organised.
Team Coordination
  • Organise regular team meetings and ensure action points are monitored and followed through.
  • Support team building and office coordination, particularly during in-office days.
Project & Office Support
  • Collaborate with the project lead on internal initiatives, keeping the Executive aligned with key developments.
  • Be present in the office once per week (Mondays) for essential support functions and in-person coordination.
Communications & Social Media
  • Assist with occasional internal communication updates and light social media support.
  • Uphold a consistent, professional tone across all communications.
Authority & Discretion
  • Operate as a trusted gatekeeper, representing the Executive with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and maturity.
Candidate Specification:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience supporting a C-suite leader or senior executive
  • Unflappable under pressure with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
  • Demonstrates confidence, initiative, and discretion in managing sensitive responsibilities
  • Highly organised, efficient, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools (Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Experience in clinical, academic, or multi-venture environments is a plus
  • Having experience with NHS and marketing is desirable
  • Social media experience beneficial but not essential
  • UK Right-to-Work documentation required
