This is an exciting opportunity for an Employment Partner to join a national law firm in Leeds. The firm has an established Employment practice and is keen to grow further in this area with the appointment of a new Partner.The Employment Partner will deal with a range of responsibilities including;
  • On boarding existing contact / clients
  • Supporting the existing team who deal with respondent Employment work.
  • Leading on business development and winning new work.
  • Working as part of the national Employment UK team.
  • Helping managing junior lawyers in the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide holistic legal solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment law and provide insights to clients and colleagues.

  • Proven expertise in employment law gained from a large regional, national or international law firm
  • Able to bring their own work and clients across
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team
  • Ideally some sector experience .
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • A proactive approach to business development and client engagement.
The client is a national law firm with offices across the UK. They have a large full service office in central Leeds and are known as a great place to work with a high staff retention rate. They have a sizeable Employment practice which is ranked by the legal directories for Yorkshire.
  • A competitive salary in the range of £160,000 upwards per annum.
