- Proven Experience in Data Strategy Development: Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and implementing data strategies that align with business objectives, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
- Data Governance Expertise: Extensive experience in establishing and managing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Data Analytics Skills: Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics and reporting tools to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Technology Implementation: Hands-on experience with data management and analytics tools, including overseeing their implementation and integration within an organization.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with at least 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring data teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven track record of working with key stakeholders to understand their data needs, build business buy-in, and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge to provide guidance on ongoing data projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and strategic objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to data management, particularly within the legal sector.
- Change Management: Experience in driving cultural change towards a data-driven organization, including the ability to influence and inspire others
- 7+ years of experience in data management roles with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Proven track record of successfully implementing data strategies across large organizations
- Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and management principles
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
