End Date Wednesday 17 September 2025Salary Range £0 - £0Flexible Working Options Hybrid Working, Job ShareJob Description Summary .Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Head of Retail, Insurance Control & ReportingSALARY: £115,000 - £140,000LOCATION(S): BristolHOURS: Full-timeWORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at leasttwo days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sitesAbout this opportunityThis exciting role offers the opportunity to lead, build and motivate a team of c.60 finance professionals in the Retail & Insurance Financial Control and Reporting Team, partnering with Retail and Insurance Finance to deliver a robust control environment which gives confidence in reporting to your stakeholders.You’ll join us in Group Finance Support (part of GFS), a key function within the Finance community of LBG. We’re a team of c.300 colleagues, with responsibilities including financial reporting and control, people and culture initiatives and strategy implementation.The team are in the middle of a significant Transformation journey and you will be part of influencing, designing and implementing Finance Transformation over the next few years, both within Group Finance Support and beyond!Day to day, you will:Drive and positively influence key internal and external partners including Divisional Finance Directors, Risk Partners and our external auditorsProvide challenge, insight and decision support to the Retail and Insurance Finance teams to improve business controls and performanceResponsible for ensuring robust risk management processes, including SOX and Risk OpenPages, are embedded within the team, and provide a ‘no-surprises’, high quality Financial Control environmentOwn and be accountable in driving resolution of issues at pace, collaborating effectively across teams to get the best solution for LBGLead the team to support Transformation, including leading and influencing the design and delivery into the key areas of activityBuild, lead and develop a successful professional, resilient and driven Finance team.Drive an environment of continuous improvement, in particular through data improvement and use of automation and AI toolsAs a key member of the Leadership team, drive the cultural change to ensure that the team is well placed to deliver for now and for the futureWhy Lloyds Banking GroupWe’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good.
