Monday to Friday and weekends on a rota basisPay Rates:Monday–Friday: £12.21/hourSaturday: £17.22/hourSunday: £22.34/hourJob Description:We are currently recruiting for a Service Assistant to work on a Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Ward. You will play a key role in helping to maintain a clean, welcoming, and recovery-focused environment for patients.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the ward is clean, tidy, and maintained to high hygiene standardsSupport with the preparation and delivery of food and beverages to patientsAssist in creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere for patients and staffWork closely with the ward team to support day-to-day operationsAdhere to infection control and food hygiene standards at all timesBe approachable, compassionate, and respectful in all patient and team interactionsRequirements:Ability to work both weekdays and weekends on a rota basisCommitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and patient careStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust undergo an Enhanced DBS CheckPrevious experience in a healthcare or care setting is desirable but not essentialIf this role is permanent, gap personnel is operating as the employment agency.
