Hours:Monday to FridayRotating shift – 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pmSalary:£13.43 – £15.39OverviewWe are seeking skilled Press Brake Operators, Laser and Turret punch operators to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and the ability to operate the machinery effectively. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.ResponsibilitiesFabricate components by interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Assemble parts and components as required, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Perform basic math’s calculations to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to assist in the fabrication process.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols.QualificationsProven experience operating machinery or similar equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
Familiarity with tooling, welding, grinding, and assembly processes is advantageous.
Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Basic math’s skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
