  • Salary: £13.50+ per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Contract: Long-term (1 academic year initially)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Age Group: Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery / Reception)
  • Location: Islington, London
What You'll Be Doing
  • Support children's learning and development across all EYFS areas
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities
  • Help create a safe, stimulating learning environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual learning plans
  • Observe and assess children's progress
  • Provide pastoral care and support for young learners
What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with EYFS children (Reception age)
  • Level 3 qualification or above in EYFS/Childcare/Early Years
  • Strong understanding of child development and EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (required)
Desirable:
  • First Aid qualification
  • Experience with EYFS assessment and observations
  • Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
