Contract: Full-time, Long-termWe are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in London starting September 2025. This role involves working closely with teachers to support the learning and development of young children.Main Duties:Deliver tailored 1:1 support to an Early Years pupil in and out of the classroomCollaborate with the class teacher to develop and implement activities suited to the pupil’s individual requirementsEncourage the pupil’s academic growth, social skills, and emotional well-being, fostering independence and confidenceMaintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphereModify resources and teaching approaches to match the pupil’s learning preferencesHelp track the pupil’s progress and provide helpful feedback to both teachers and parentsEstablish strong relationships with the pupil, school staff, and family membersFollow school guidelines and contribute to a safe, respectful environmentCandidate Profile:Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or has relevant experienceExperienced in providing one-to-one support to children, preferably in a school environmentDemonstrates empathy and insight into the unique needs of young learnersPossesses strong communication and interpersonal abilitiesShows patience, resilience, and emotional support skillsAble to adapt and respond to evolving needsFamiliarity with Early Years teaching techniques and materials is preferredAdditional relevant qualifications are a benefit but not mandatoryWhy Choose Protocol Education?
