Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Carer to provide essential support to our clients across designated postcodes. This role operates on a rotational basis, working alternate weekends. You will be the on-call carer responsible for covering absences and holiday leave during weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes.
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Step in to cover absences and holiday leave as required.
- Follow care plans and ensure the dignity and well-being of clients at all times.
- Travel between client homes within the designated postcode areas.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the care coordinator.
- Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient nature with a strong commitment to client care.
- Flexibility to respond to last-minute cover needs.
- Reliable transport and a valid driving license (preferred due to travel requirements).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) - which we will source.
